Etron Technology, Inc. was founded by Dr. Nicky Lu in Science-based Industrial Park, Hsiunchu, Taiwan on February 10, 1991. Lu and a number of leading engineers pioneered Taiwan's " National Submicron Project," developed Taiwan's first 8-inch wafer submicron technology and laid a solid foundation for the continuous growth of the DRAM and SRAM industries in Taiwan.
